51³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is committed to student success. The primary goal of the Office of Student Services is to provide all students with the services and resources needed to support their learning and on-campus experiences during their time at Roseman.
51³ÉÈ˵¼º½ is pleased to provide our students and residents with an additional way to support their mental health and overall well-being, with no-cost access to Talkspace online therapy and psychiatry, as well as Talkspace: Self-Guided.

Effective action, including disciplinary action where appropriate, will be taken should proven violations of either of these Acts occur.
Faculty, Staff, Administrator Process
Should a faculty member, staff, or administrator be made aware of a student requesting academic accommodations due to a disability, that faculty member or administrator should immediately refer the student to the Student Services Office so that the student may be informed of policies and processes necessary to grant accommodations.
Student Accommodation Request Process
Students requiring accommodations must first contact the Student Services Office. In order to provide accommodations in a timely manner, the student should notify the Student Services Office as soon as possible, preferably before the start of the academic year so that any necessary documentation may be submitted. The Student Services Office will talk to the student about documentation during the initial conversation. No student should delay meeting with the Student Services Office out of concern for not having appropriate paperwork. There is no paperwork which the student needs to obtain from Student Services rather just provide the documentation as outlined in the following form.

51³ÉÈ˵¼º½ does not discriminate on the basis of sex in the educational programs or activities it operates and the university is required by Title IX not to discriminate in such a manner. The Title IX requirement not to discriminate in Roseman’s educational programs and activities extends to admission and employment. Sexual harassment, including peer-on-peer sexual harassment, is a form of sex discrimination prohibited under Title IX. Title IX polices apply only to sex discrimination occurring against a person in the United States.
Roseman’s Title IX policy addresses the university’s grievance procedures and grievance process, including how to report or file a complaint of sex discrimination, how to report or file a formal complaint of sexual harassment, and how the university will respond to a report and formal complaint of sex discrimination.

Reporting of Title IX Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex, Including Sexual Harassment
Any person may report sex discrimination, including sexual harassment (whether or not the person reporting is the person alleged to be the victim of conduct that could constitute sex discrimination or sexual harassment), in person, by mail, by telephone, or by electronic mail, using the contact information listed for the Title IX Coordinator, or by any other means that results in the Title IX Coordinator receiving the person’s verbal or written report. Such a report may be made at any time (including during non-business hours) by using the telephone number or electronic mail address, or by mail to the office address, listed for the Title IX Coordinator.

Roseman will work to resolve all student complaints in an expedient and fair manner. Students wishing to file a complaint should first exhaust the internal University process.
In the event that a satisfactory resolution is not reached at the University level regarding Online Education and State Authorization Reciprocity, students are invited to follow up with the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education per the information above or contact the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington DC 20001, 202-887-6791. The process for handling complaints within the College of Nursing can be found in the student handbook for the College of Nursing.

State Contact Information for Student Complaint Processes
Nevada
Students enrolled in licensed, private postsecondary educational institution, have the right to
register a legitimate complaint with the Commission on Postsecondary Education.
Prior to filing a complaint, you must attempt to resolve the issue with school officials according to
the policies of the school which you are attending. If you are unable to reach a solution, you may
contact the Commission (see below) and we will attempt to resolve the issue.
If a resolution cannot be reached, you will be required to complete a formal complaint form; Formal
complaints are investigated by staff and a decision by the administrator of the Commission. If
either party does not agree with that decision, an appeal to the full Commission may be requested:
NRS 394.520 allows for the following:
1. A full refund can be ordered if it is determined that the school substantially failed to furnish
the education agreed to in the enrollment contract;
2. One-half of all monies paid can be ordered if is determined that the school substantially
furnished the education stated in the enrollment contract but the conditions where
substandard to the point the student could not be expected to complete the training.

The 1998 re-authorization of the Higher Education Act requires all post-secondary Institutions to make a good-faith effort to distribute voter registration forms to each degree or certificate-seeking student who attends classes on their campus. As a result, we are providing the following information about voter registration. We hope you will find this data useful.

Higher Education Act Section 487(a)(23) (20 U.S.C. 1094(a)(23)):
(23)(A) The institution, if located in a State to which section 1973gg-2 (b) of title 42 does not apply, will make a good faith effort to distribute a mail voter registration form, requested and received from the State, to each student enrolled in a degree or certificate program and physically in attendance at the institution, and to make such forms widely available to students at the institution.
(B) The institution shall request the forms from the State 120 days prior to the deadline for registering to vote within the State. If an institution has not received a sufficient quantity of forms to fulfill this section from the State within 60 days prior to the deadline for registering to vote in the State, the institution shall not be held liable for not meeting the requirements of this section during that election year.
(C) This paragraph shall apply to general and special elections for Federal Office, as defined in section 431(3) of title 2, and to the elections for Governor or other chief executive within such State). [1]
(D) The institution shall be considered in compliance with the requirements of subparagraph (A) for each student to whom the institution electronically transmits a message containing a voter registration form acceptable for use in the State in which the institution is located, or an Internet address where such a form can be downloaded, if such information is in an electronic message devoted exclusively to voter registration.*
